[Tetanus] MAP06: Dehydrate (UV-Max Demo)
compared to the previous map, this one comes and goes relatively quickly. it definitely has a few tricks up its sleeve though. most notably the fish-in-a-barrel trap you're stuck in with the blue key. i found it easiest to stand in the center and dash to alternating sides to avoid the rockets, and this also helps get the cyberdemon in the back infighting. i guess you could try to dash out but that seems pretty hazardous as they're isn't really any cover there. the yellow key is another close-range fight with the rocket launcher, like in map 4, but this one has some nuance that makes it a lot more manageable. it's somewhat triangle shaped, and retreating to one of the corners maximizes safe distance for rockets. you also get a clear shot on the archvile right away which helps.
oh and don't waste ammo on the cyberdemon, you get to telefrag it later (which does spawn another archvile). and there's a big wall of shotgunners at the exit, which while not particularly threatening, is very entertaining to mow down.
