Cloud is an ex-SOLDIER turned mercenary, who accepts a job from Avalanche, an eco-terrorist group that opposes his former employer. 0:00 Recap
1:03 Wall Market
Johnny is in this town for some reason.
Some of the treasure in the alleyways are blocked off.
I didn't realize at first, but the Honeygirl in the alleyway is actually Folia from the Leaf House.
It looks like half the town has food poisoning. Maybe this is because there aren't any laws to regulate food and the water supply.
8:23 Corneo's Mansion
We're not allowed into the mansion, and Leslie warns us that getting Aerith involved with Corneo's audition is really bad. We need a recommendation from one of the Trio, the Don's biggest associates.
10:17 Wall Market
Johnny wants to get into the mansion too to help Tifa, but he's not going to succeed.
11:04 Chocobo Sam's Coinflip
He'll help us if we can win his coin toss, but he uses a rigged coin.
13:52 Honeybee Inn Waitlist
We will never get an appointment with Andrea Rhodea in time.
15:41 Madam M's Massage
It's probably more strategically viable to go for Chocobo Sam's route on a first run, since this lets you get away with paying for the cheapest and most painful massage.
Madam M needs us to win a tournament in order to pay for the dress for the audition.
22:54 Corneo Colosseum
26:34 Round 1: Beastmaster
He has two dogs, so ice should be your preferred element, even though the master himself is weak to fire.
29:23 Corneo Colosseum
In the enemy waiting room, you can find the oppoent you recently defeated.
30:32 Round 2: Beck's Badasses
They brought 5 Corneo mooks, because the Don allowed it for some reason.
35:05 Corneo Colosseum
36:00 Round 3: Cutty and Sweepy
These are Sam's representatives.
38:57 Corneo Colosseum
Unfortunately, Corneo now wants us to fight a bonus round.
Yes, the remains of the Shinra mechs are in the waiting room.
42:01 Boss: Hell House
This thing has so many gimmicks and can drop delayed unblockable explosives in addition to chair missiles. It has a few attacks that Cloud can punish, but after it electrifies itself, the second hit of its rush attack can be unblockable, so you'll have to dodge to the side.
I recommend giving Aerith Synergy linked with Poison, since Poison is non-elemental and can deal good DOT.
In Phase 1, it resists physical, so it's probably easier to just spam Blizzard spells before it changes its elemental weaknesses.
In Phase 2, it temporarily starts without its physical resistance, but it'll immediately charge at you, so you should have Cloud counter it.
When it sets up its barrier, you can either try to unload a ton of spells on the hands or just wait out the barrier. Once the barrier dissapates for the first time, it'll be lightning elemental, so use Aero/Aerora to pressure it. Afterwards, use Blizzard/Blizzara and Focus Thrust to fill that stagger gauge before it can recover and set up another barrier.
In Phase 3, it'll fly above and rain down chairs and mines. I didn't dodge it properly. Maybe I should have run without doing anything else. Once the barrier goes down, use the back button to figure out its current weakness and use the appropriate spell, which will send it crashing down and pressure it. I was sloppy and I still got sub-5 minutes.
48:35 Corneo Colosseum
Andrea seems interested in us despite our lack of appointment.
You can buy explosive items at the counter. I don't know if they deal fixed or scaled damage.
You can now do arena challenges. Fortunately, the solo challenges are more fair than the ones in Tales games, at least in the beginning.
52:30 Cloud vs Wild Animals
55:11 Aerith vs Wild Animals
She'll likely have a harder time in every round except the last.
58:15 Two-Person Team vs Slum Outlaws
Why is the Huntsman included? In any case, this is your chance to assess him.
