18The Apogee is Dead. The original recording failed (nice Title Screen shot though). And now, with the New 0.95a Update, this series is going to come to a close as well. Not all is lost for the Wells Compact though -- especially with our penchant for continuing to find Nanoforges. In fact, I would be feeling REALLY good about the direction this series is going were I to continue. But new things are shiny. Also, don't judge my post Apogee grief purchase, even if it ended up happening off camera.
This is also the last of the videos from where I recorded ahead. From here on out, it's going to be the new update with all of the new features.

Starsector is a game where you get together a squad of spaceships and try to carve your own place out in the stars. Will you turn a profit from trade? Or how about shoot down some pirates to defend a fringe colony? Bounty hunting sound good, or how about becoming a pirate yourself and turning the tables? The galaxy is open to you, just be wary of any AI you might bump into along the way. Although this game is still in Alpha and in deep development, this is one of the greatest games I have ever played and I am very excited it won the viewer's choice selection. The mechanics are deep. The lore is interesting. And once you get your feet wet there are all sorts of mods out there to play with.
Speaking of mods, this play through is a slightly modded version, adding more face choices and some extra dialogue boxes during combat. No mods have been included that fundamentally change how the game is played mechanically (despite some REALLY NICE quality of life mods being out there).
