This is another map that teaches the player to get over their fears and run, and I love it. Taking on the big teleport ambush at the beginning with just what you're given there is incredibly difficult and tedious. You need both the secret and the BFG to clear it, and you need them fast because that room fills up very quickly. In the blind experience, entering the teleporter into the main yard is immediately panic inducing, you're being fired at from all over, and you suddenly have a rocket launcher that you'll probably blow yourself up with on a spectre if you try to use it. Go to the left, and you are in a very mean ambush arena with way more than you can handle, and imps blocking the path out. Progress from there and get disoriented with 3 surprises in a row in the sequence of teleporters. The final surprise being the cyberdemon that is in a very awkward spot to BFG from the outside. It has to be dealt with up close, which brings another lesson in risk taking. Sometimes you just gotta rush the cyberdemon and hope he doesn't fire. This time I was not that lucky, but miraculously had enough health to tank a rocket. Finally, Lost in Place was not appealing to me before, but I now appreciate it as one of the best evil ambient tracks I know. There is a lot of those in the last 3rd of Plutonia, actually they're pretty much all notably good tracks.
