I used to think this map was impossible, but I was a kid, I didn't know about circle strafing or BFG rhythm or anything like that. Now I see, that this map can be very challenging or incredibly easy depending on how you go about it. I think there 's enough shells in the map to kill all 4 cybers, which is safe, but time consuming. You could also rush through the map and release all the cybers and get them to infight with everything else, but that requires some pretty insane luck and perfect movement. I went the middle route, killing one cyber with SSG, one with rockets, and the other 2 with the BFG and infighting. I know I could've done it quicker, but dodging multiple free roaming cyberdemons at once is just not fun for me. Not yet at least, I am not there with my skill progression. I think the double button doors are both annoying and a creative way to force the player to be quick and juggle rockets. The architecture around those door frames and switches feel like they're made to get stuck on though, which was particularly frustrating for me, but probably a skill issue. Finally, I would probably rank this map several grades lower if it weren't for Cry of Desperation, which is easily the best track from the midi pack. Not only does it fit the map perfectly, and convey the depression and anguish I used to feel when playing it, but it is incredible as a standalone piece of music. I'm not sure if I can name a midi that effected me more emotionally than that one. It would literally make me cry the first few times I heard it because of how much it struck me and made me think about my past. I resisted listening to it for a long time for that reason. Thankfully it no longer holds that effect on me because I've heard it so much, but I now truly appreciate it for the art that it is. Tristan Clark is probably my favorite Midi composer and for good reason.
