In todays video we are building or saving the retired 2016 Lego Creator Expert Brick Bank set #10251, with 2,382 pieces. This is the first promised building when I said I would a Brick Bank if we get to 200 subs. At that point we were at around 145 subs, and we hit 200 mid May. I wanted to make this interesting so buying a damaged set seemed to be the best way to do this. In this case, we believed we bought a incomplete set due to the fact a portion of the 1 bags where already placed on the baseplate. In the pictures it showed a lot of pieces in zip lock bags for the opened 1 bags. Once we received the set we found the bags numbered 2, 3, and 4 to be all complete. But it turns out 60% of the 1 bags were missing and they made it look like more pieces then it was by dumping random brick that doesn’t belong to the set. I verified this by running the part numbers. After a tight inventory, I had to order $120 worth of brick from brick link to hopefully save this set. Once I passed bag one and had everything pertaining to, complete, I celebrated. I was really happy the build was ready for bags 2. Now, I maintained nervousness onto bags 2 to 4, because they could have been missing sealed bags as well. But thankfully they weren’t and we completed the model. In the review, we venture through all of the nice brick work and features of the Brick Bank. One of the first that gets noticed is the chandelier that folds away when you take the roof off and set it down. On the second floor is a managers office and a employee office. Good office detail on this level, but the main attraction is the first floor. On the first floor you are greeted by nice tile work, and a complete bank tellers counter with a lady working. The vault does have a locking door, but this leads into the next point. Out front there are a mother and daughter receiving a reward. But the mom is not who she seems to be. It appears she knows how to exploit the bank vault and enters the vault through the chimney while wearing a robbers hat and face covering. I also believe this mother daughter duo run the Soap and Suds. In this laundromat we notice that one of the washers don’t look right. Sure enough, you can launder money from this washer directly into one of the safety deposit boxes in the vault. So this duo has a good thing going, they appear to be award winning citizens, but they rob the bank, and then wash the money back into the vault in their own safety deposit box. This is a highly recommended set, I can clearly see the cult following of this set. Im glad I saved this one and now it will be forever enjoyed. Thank You for watching!
