Lego Icons Atari 2600!! (It's Game On! For This Build and Review!)
In todays video we build and review the Lego Icons Atari 2600 set #10306, with 2532 pieces. This build is exciting to me because its the first in what I hope to be three video game builds from lego. I hope to build the Nintendo NES very soon, and they just recently released the Pac Man Arcade this month. This is video three of three that I have made to keep you all entertained while my wife and I take a short trip to LA to see Blink 182 for our 10 year anniversary. In the unboxing we find three small sticker sheets, a decent book, and 16 numbered build stage bags. In our review we discuss the details of the set, the coolest being that the set is a 1:1 to the actual console. The next is the three games that it comes with each containing its own diorama. Adventure is colorful, and has some great parts usage, and the game cartridge features some unique nods to Lego. Next is Asteroid, this diorama features some cool space rocks and a small little space shuttle to shoot them down, again the game cartridge nods to Lego and represents the original very well. Finally Centipede, This diorama is very similar in color to Adventure, but the game cartridge features a unique difference with it being grey and black in color but still has those nods to Lego. All three game cartridges fit in the console themselves as well as into a very nice and detailed cartridge holder. Going into the console itself. The console features printed elements for the controls, and brown layering to represent the original woodgrain of the console. The top of the console does slide forward revealing a cool 80’s themed game room. This room features 80’s themed posters, tech, and more. It also features a unique mining with custom printed torso playing the game. I am very glad to have the chance to welcome this set into the collection. It is rumored to be retiring in the end of 2023. I do hope that is a false rumor as this is a slept on set that more have to enjoy. So I do recommend this build for any Lego collector, especially if you can relate to 80’s gaming. I was able to save 10% on this set at my local bookstore, so it is worth it to look for a good deal when buying this set. If you like videos like this please Like, Share, and Subscribe!’
