In todays video we are taking a look at Bricks and Minifigs “Certified” program for a second time. To do this, we are building the 2017 Lego Star Wars BB-8 set #75187, with 1,106 pieces. This set is from the movie “The Last Jedi”. Before we dive into the unboxing and discussion of the build. I do take some time to show my recent purchase of the 2015 Remote Controlled Sphero BB-8. I picked this unit up form my local toy store for only $20, and surprising enough I was able to fully charge the battery and find a working app for my phone to control it. Going into the unboxing we find some interesting details again, that are similar to yesterdays video. Again, looking at the box we find that its never been broken down for storage. So this made me curious once again to get inside and see what we were dealing with. We did find evidence that the box was previously opened as before. Once inside we find bags 2 through 6 perfectly sealed and intact exactly as yesterday. And like yesterday bag 1 was in a resealable bag. Again the pieces in bag 1 seemed never used as well. After the time lapse we go into the review. In the review segment of this video, we don’t have much to cover as this is primarily a model display set. We do get a nice stand to securely display BB-8, and this stand does have a plaque with a sticker element indicating important details on BB-8. One last feature of the stand is it does hold a minifig of BB-8. Onto the actual details, we find the following features. On the right side of the unit we turn the center circle and his welding lighter unit does pop out from the front. Unfortunately you do have to close the door by hand once you roll it back in. On the left side you find another turnable center circle, but this one articulates the head. Overall I find the layering of the brick to make a sphere done really well and the orange and white are really nice. I enjoyed building this BB-8 unit, and am finally happy to have him in the collection. If you enjoyed the build please Like, Share, and Subscribe! Thank you for watching!
