There are a lot of MYTHS and MISCONCEPTIONS surrounding the DEEP WEB and what people get up to with the TOR BROWSER. So I take this opportunity to tell the TRUTH about what the DEEP WEB is and what you can find on there.
The DEEP WEB is that portion of the internet which is not picked up by standard SEARCH ENGINES, such as GOOGLE. Instead, you access these websites, which have really unusual url's, by using the TOR BROWSER. Here, you can find all sorts of content that has been uploaded under the safety of anonymity. As a browser, you are largely anonymous as well.
This of course means that there are some weird and CRIMINAL things lurking in the underbelly of the DEEP WEB, which is known as the DARK WEB/DARK NET. But you cannot just stumble into this content and of course, browsing the DEEP WEB is not ILLEGAL.
