HOW TO Install a VIRTUAL MACHINE using VMWARE WORKSTATION 15
As I start the new LETS TRY LINUX SERIES, I've been working a lot more frequently with VIRTUAL MACHINES. In this video, I walk you through, in a jargon-free way, the step-by-step process to setting up a VIRTUAL MACHINE in WINDOWS 10 using VMWARE WORKSTATION PLAYER 15. This also includes a quick guide on how to install VMWARE TOOLS when you're using an ISO that acts as a CD-ROM, which can complicate the process.
Many people opt to use ORACLE VIRTUAL BOX for their VIRTUAL MACHINE, but I've been encountering a ton of problems with it. I've found, when it comes to WINDOWS 10, VMWARE WORKSTATION 15 is a much more stable and efficient piece of SOFTWARE - so I highly reccommend it!
This is for those of you that want to follow me on my LINUX journey through the LETS TRY SERIES, or, if you're trying to install a VIRTUAL MACHINE on your own but are stuck at any point. You'll find this GUIDE helpful - I hope.
