Let's Try Linux - Part 5: Fedora Workstation 31.1.9

In PART 5 of this Let's Try LINUX SERIES, I take a very brief look at FEDORA, a DISTRO sponsored by RED HAT. The version I am using is 31.1.9, as always, testing within a VIRTUAL MACHINE.
The DESKTOP ENVIRONMENT for FEDORA is GNOME and its definitely a nice DESKTOP EXPERIENCE, carefully balancing the line between usability and performance. It's sleek, clean and very fast, considering it has been set up within a VM. I especially like the top bar, which is used to navigate the DISTROS apps and it performs really well.
Fun fact: As of 2015, FEDORA is apparently the DISTRO of choice for LINUS TORVALDS, the creator of the LINUX kernel, so that's saying something.
I wasn't too familiar with FEDORA going in and had a little bit of confusion using the TERMINAL, which of course (although unbeknownst to me) does not use the apt repository and instead uses dnf. At this point, I noticed the installation of the CHROMIUM BROWSER, my main test for installation speed, was quite slow in comparison to some of the other DISTROS we've seen in this SERIES so far. I'm not entirely sure why this is and it's a bit of a shame, as FEDORA really does seem to function, on the whole, quite well.
Overall, FEDORA is a solid DISTRO, capable of being utilised in many different contexts and it definitely functioned well as a VIRTUAL MACHINE.
