This feels like the point where the Tony Hawk series became essential. The first game was a fantastic first stab, but the improvements in THPS2 make the game infinitely more playable. There are many more goals and objectives on each level, and the combo system finally gets manuals to help connect tricks together on the ground. I still think the revert is key to the Tony Hawk combo system (and if you watch carefully, you'll see me instinctively try to revert during this and switch stance instead), but the level design is great and the soundtrack much further reaching.
