Turbo Outrun (Genesis) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
64A playthrough of Sega's 1992 arcade racer port for the Sega Genesis, Turbo Outrun.
Played through on the default settings.
I really like this one. It in no way compares to the absolutely stellar arcade version, but then, the Genesis was nowhere near as powerful as the hardware the arcade version ran on. As long as you can accept Turbo Outrun first and foremost as a Genesis game, it's great. It's quite similar to the first OutRun port and going through US cities is a cool idea, even if they all consist of one building stamped over and over the scrolling ground.
It's well worth your time, but if you find yourself looking for an accurate port more than a "console adaptation", you'd be better off looking elsewere.
