Turbo Racing 2 Game
Racing is a whole lot of fun, you've got the pumping of adrenaline, the thrill of both the chase and of being chased, the heady rush of victory, and everything else in between. Turbo Racing 2 gives you exactly that, and it looks great to boot.
As aforementioned, the game looks really spiffy. A whole bunch of other games just palette swap things around, not Turbo Racing 2 though. Each car is modeled differently, so you'll be seeing a whole bunch of different rides blasting through each track. They might not look as good as modern console games, but for a free online racer, they look spectacular.
What's more, the environments are great to look at as well as to race in. The tracks are, like the rides, modeled well and textured well. This makes for some great environments to race in and you'll be seeing things from sea-side tracks to urban sprawls and everything in between.
You'll also be treated to some lovely sounds. The audio is done just as well as the graphics, and you'll get the screeching of your tires, the revving of your engines, and the smashing of your chasis as it crunches into another car. All of that paired with the quality of the graphics makes for a really great aesthetic. What's more, it adds to the immersion of the game, and it makes it so you can really get into the game.
The controls of the game also add to the level of immersion. You don't have any complicated things like manual transmission or anything. Instead, you've got your arrow keys, and you use those to move around the track. Left and right move you, of course, left and right. The up and down keys will accelerate and decelerate you, and the the X key will pump some nitrous into your engine giving you that turbo boost that the game is named after.
In addition to all that, the game plays really well. It's easy to control, it's fun to look at, and the tracks are interesting. You won't get any straight tracks here, everything is all twisty turny making for some great action. Further, the game's not too difficult, so it's easily playable even by novice players. It's not too easy though, as it does get harder as the game progresses, so you won't get too bored by it.
So what are you waiting for? Go on and give Turbo Racing 2 a shot!
