Ubuntu 15.04 VS Windows 10 : Unreal Tournament Benchmark with a GTX 680
114This video's focus for the benchmark and analysis are solely on the performance of the native versions of Unreal Tournament on Ubuntu and Windows.
DISCLAIMER: UT is still in pre-alpha. Things could get better or worse depending on Unreal's focus in future updates. UT is free, so you're able to test it yourself as well. Don't just take my word for it, find out for yourself!

The graphical settings options are identical on the Windows version and the Linux version, so each test was reproducible on each system exactly.
On Ubuntu, the CPU governor is set to Performance. For Windows, it is set to High Performance.
Minimum settings here means everything that can be turned OFF or set to LOW was set to OFF or LOW.
Maximum settings means cranking everything ON and to the Highest setting possible, with the exception of V-Sync and Anti-Aliasing which was kept off.
My verdict: The guys over at Unreal need to pay more attention to the Linux issues that they have both in UT and UE4. Lighting, textures and performance seems to be the biggest problems right now.
I may have made mistakes, and if I have done so, please forgive me and correct me in the comments. I've tried to do this benchmark and analysis to the best of my knowledge and capabilities.
