I always love it when a plan comes together.

I presumed that because I was able to beat three episodes in the previous stream and there were only three episodes left in JJ2, that I'd be able to finish it with this stream. The thing is, it wasn't quite as smooth a finish as I was hoping for.

The fourth and final episode of the base game went relatively swimmingly. But when it came to playing The Secret Files -- the extra "Episode 0" that served as the title for the expanded release -- I made a fatal mistake that would've forced me to scutter that run and restart it with someone else. Since Lori was a character that was added to said expansion, I figured it would be safe to play through that set of episodes with her. I was wrong.

Since Lori lacks Jazz's super jump and Spaz's double jump, her vertical reach is significantly weaker than those of her brothers. And it just so happened there was a puzzle that relied on precision platforming. On the plus side, I did find out I wasn't the only person who made such a fatal mistake and there was a YouTube video with a solution to my predicament. It really didn't help that the levels in that expansion pack felt... really meandering. But I guess they had to make up for the lack of a boss fight somehow.

On the plus side, Holiday Hare '98 (or "The Christmas Chronicles", if you prefer) was a relatively breezy affair. I even had enough time left to do the dice roll for my next game after concluding this stream. And boy, did I get the most ironic pick of the bunch.

I guess I should've stocked up on rabbit puns.
