I often forget about certain pieces from the Zero Escape series. Not because I didn't like them, but because the games in the series are filled with really powerful pieces of music. Pieces like Morphogenetic Sorrow and Blue Bird Lamentation that really stand out and are heard throughout the games. So it's easy to forget about this gem which is hidden right at the end of 999.

Originally composed as a solo piano piece (with a few accompaniments), turning this into an orchestrated piece took a lot of thinking about how I would compensate for certain sections of the original piece by using strings and woodwinds. As a result, there are quite a number of different instruments in the arrangement (probably more than it sounds like). So besides the main melody, there are quite a few nuances hidden away throughout the piece. The piece was originally composed by Shinji Hosoe.

Also I've come to realise that I'm lucky to be making these arrangements from games I don't think I ever would have played had it not been for a friend suggesting I play them. I was always a Final Fantasy arrangement making machine until I was told about Danganronpa. At the moment, I currently make arrangements for music from: Final Fantasy, Trails in the Sky, Zero Escape, Danganronpa and Ace Attorney. So I would love recommendations on other games to try out with amazing music (anime included by the way) or just general suggestions. I've been alerted to 'The Silver Case' so far.

Although I have a rule that I need to play the game (or watch the anime) first before making arrangements.
