Here is of my full playthrough of Operation Logic Bomb done, as always using original hardware on a Super Nintendo with no cheats or save states!
Follow me on instagram @Cabin_game_fever to join me live or via my reviews and uploads to witness me take down all the games currently in my SNES colleciton, following on from having already beaten all 234 licenced UK releases for the NES. I only use original carts, no cheats & no save states.

-With a title as ambiguous as that, its anyones guess what's on offer. My instincts went for puzzle but you'd be forgiven for thinking some form of tactical game? Bet you weren't expecting a straight up shooter!
Jaleco once again deliver a game nobodies heard of that's actually pretty good (whoever ran their marketing campaign should be fired!... Well should've been). I've always had a soft spot for Jaleco games, even if they rarely elevate much beyond average, still with a collection as big as mine, average is often a fine place to be.
Despite failing to deliver anything spectacular, the bird's eye view shooting antics offers an enjoyable evenings play and at a relatively relaxed pace too. It's kinda slow, a little clunky and perhaps somewhat lazy, but the fundamentals work well enough and when gameplay is fun, isnt that enough?
Action is confined to destroying small waves of enemies across each floor before activating terminals or destroying alien machines to unlock more hoards. Some backtracking is required as is the acquisition of a number of item & weapon upgrades to progress, each offering fun new mechanics to gameplay.
The lack of a password is no issue given the game is beatable in under 90 mins. The challenge is minimal really and the inclusion of 3 lives makes it very beatable on your first attempt, as was the case with me.
There is a story told through unlocking various computer terminals, tho without written text to accompany them, these nice little cut scenes are somewhat confusing to gauge what's actually happening.
It would be generous to call this a 'Hidden Gem', more like 'Hidden nice bit of shiny Quartz' which were price affordable I'd definitely recommend giving a go. Alas with carts fetching north of £70 (if u can even find one), It definitely feels hard to argue in favour of such an outlay.
