Using Rebrickable To Fix The Lego Creator Cozy House! (It Takes TWO Cozy House Sets to Make This)
This is part two of a two part series of taking a look at what we can build with rebrickable.com. In todays video we destroy another build that has made me upset months ago. The set is the Lego Creator 3 in 1 Cozy House set #31139, with 808 pieces. I built this set with hopes to make it fit in my Lego city, but the scale is just wrong and the open back makes it super unattractive. So I left it on a shelf for another day, hoping I can make use of it. Recently I expanded the Lego city and also cleared off junk like this off the lego shelves. These two facts combined, put the set at the forefront of projects that needed to get done. For the last few months, I have thought about using rebrickable.com to try to make use of this set. And luckily there was a model that only required the use of 2 sets and no additional parts. I bought the second set and the instructions, and went to work. In the review, you can see how the designer made a much better house from the pieces provided. The exterior of the new building is town house or victorian themed and well detailed. Starting inside the top level of this 2 level build we do find an upstairs bedroom and is tightly furnished. It features a in wall stereo bookshelf, bed, and more! The lower level is the common areas like the living room and kitchen. I think they did an excellent job designing this area with a huge art painting made of brick, a colorful couch, and a detailed kitchen. Overall im extremely happy with using rebrickable as an option to correct this set. I recommend people use rebrickable to find use for their Lego sets that lost their appeal. This is now a perfect structure for my beach. My total cost into this build was around $110 and about 4 hours of my time. Also in this video we finish placing it and securing it into the Lego city. I did have to remove the bottom layer of plate from the model, as well as some plates from the MILS in the city to flesh mount it down along with the Noodle Shop too. The end result after transferring the tile features from he removed plates is pure perfection. This, for now, is the chefs kiss that my city needed on the beach.
