Alfred Tries To Play: Dimension Force (SNES)
0Dimension Force or simply D-Force- it's a rather basic vertically scrolling shooter where you fly a helicopter and (naturally in such a game) blast the living daylights out of everything you see.
There's not much depth, but there is an interesting feature you won't see here (because I'm typically lousy at scrolling shooters)- in the even numbered levels, you can use the shoulder buttons to change elevation- necessary to defeat enemies on the ground (and avoid enemies in the air). You can even play a game consisting of only these levels (select Technical Mode on the title screen).
This game however is let down by a low frame-rate and lots of slowdown. I've played worse games than this, but I recommend this game only to helicopter nuts (people like me for instance).
