2Remember what I said in the past about the likes of Pele, Champions World Class Soccer and the officially licenced World Cup games being the worst vintage football games of all time? Disregard all that, this truly is something else in terms of dreadful.
It's a football game where you do not have direct control of the players, but rather control their movements via a large map of the pitch on the bottom of the screen- the actual on-pitch action is confined to a tiny box. This is a real 'what-the-hell-were-they-smoking' kind of game- it simply doesn't work.
As a result, you're left mashing buttons frantically trying to avoid losing by a cricket score and flailing about trying to actually do something. In short, this is unplayable, the worst football game ever made (at least in all the other crap efforts you can actually control the players directly) and one of the worst games I have had the misfortune of playing.
AVOID THIS GAME AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU LOVE PAIN!
