We revisit the specs of the RX 480, and we examine the gaming performance of the RX 480 against a suite of modern games, at different resolutions to see how the RX 480 matches up to some of the more demanding modern games. In our series of performance and gaming benchmarks, the RX 480 is put to the test. We also discuss the Polaris architecture which powered the RX 400 series of cards, and how it fared in the PC gaming hardware market at the time vs Nvidia.
