1,150Nvidia's New Weapons Against AMD - Geforce RTX 3080 Ti & RTX 3070 Ti Release Date Specs & No Mining
Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti have had their specs and release date leaked. Both of these next cards are going to have mining limitations imposed much like the GeForce RTX 3060 - but Nvidia will try and make the anti-mining measures better. Previously these where broken on the RTX 3060, not helped by nvidia themselves releasing a driver bypassing the limits.
The GeForce RTX 3070 ti offers substantially more memory bandwidth than the Geforce RTX 3070, with over 600GB/s vs just 448GB/s thanks to much faster RAM, and uses the full GA104 die. This card launches in June, where as the RTX 3080 Ti launches in late May, and should be very close in performance to the GeForce RTX 3090.
Both of these cards will be critical for the onslaught AMD is hitting Nvidia with in gaming and traditional rasterization performance, and AMD will release their DLSS competitor (FSR) later this year which will help AMD offer feature parity to the RTX 30 series of graphics cards.
