Rumours have surfaced yet again that a PS5 Slim next gen console is incoming from Sony, and it will be a bit more than just a smaller version than the Playstation 5 console. Apparently, the Playstation 5 Slim specs will have a redesign, and will use TSMC's 6nm node. But what other improvements can we expect? Sony will undoubtedly seek to make improvements in power draw as well as production costs. But will Microsoft also answer with a slimline Xbox Series X console?
According to an Intel employee, Intel Xe DG2 is ALMOST HERE. Intel Xe HPG DG2 is expected to deliver some nice performance vs the RTX 3070 GPU. We've heard quite a lot about the expected gaming performance and price for Intel Xe, but will it be able to match up in features like ray tracing, mesh shaders and more? This graphics card cycle, features like that are just as important as the specifications, especially with features like DLSS and FidelityFX Super Resolution gaining popularity with gamers and developers.
