We have our first real look at the specs of the PSVR 2, the virtual reality headset which has been announced for the PS5 next gen console. According to UploadVR (link below), we should expect some pretty impressive specifications for the PlaystationVR 2, including 4K and foveated rendering. We go over all the alleged specifications which have leaked, plus all the other details that have leaked today on the PS5 VR headset.
We discuss the application of foveated rendering for the PSVR 2, how developers can use it to save on crucial performance for future PS5 VR games, plus how the specs compare against the leading PC virtual reality headsets.
