A video showing an example of how to S rank the SL mission Defend Mirage HQ

A mission that should be simple, but isn't. The first phase goes as expected. Everything except the helicopters can be ignored, and even if they land a warning is giving, making it easy to clean them up. However, the mission has a second phase involving a 2 v 1 AC fight. This can easily catch the unprepared off guard.

The AC fight involved a close range Flamethrower quad and a mid range orbit cannon hover. The combination requires shell and EN defense to defend against, and can be difficult to avoid in a slow AC even with heavy armor.

The key is to DPS down the quad and then kill the hover. The higher your DPS, the less damage you'll take. The XCG/20 plasma rifle is a top choice for this mission.

There are two hidden AC parts. One behind the starting platform and one for clearing the mission killing the two AC's.
