Before dealing with the cult hiding underneath the Temple District, Shadow thought it a good idea to find a decent spot to rest. After spending their time at an inn within Waukeen's Promenade, they set out for the Temple District, but as they did, they encountered a brawl between the shadow thieves and what looked to be a vampire. They spoke of hidden enemies of great power and how siding with either could be lethal, but he set that thought aside and headed for the sewers, where they eventually meet Keldorn and the entrance to the cult headquarters. Something comes over Shadow however when he faced few denizens of the sewers. He may not be ready to face the dangers ahead and thus went elsewhere to seek experience before returning.
