Castlevania AGA (still in development) by Dante Retro Dev is the Castlevania game that Amiga community deserves, after the terrible version released in 1990 by Novotrade International. . After more than 30+ years, this has finally been achieved. Admittedly, the game is not yet fully completed and is still crude in many aspects, but it is playable enough to be completed. And it really is one of the nicer versions for 16-bit systems as far as graphical aspects are concerned. The music is a simplified versions of the original tracks, which doesn't stand out in any way, and that's a shame because the Amiga is known for its ability to create really great soundtracks. I hope that in the future it will be possible to improve it and take full advantage of not only the graphical capabilities of the Amiga, but also the sound. The game is very playable, although it is still in the early stages of gameplay balancing. It's too easy, and still glitchy. Especially the last fight :D but this can be seen in the gameplay itself. The game made a really great impression and I hope the author will continue to develop it. And Konami won't interfere with it, because why should they care about a version for an already practically disabled system from the mid-1980s.
