Widget (Nes) Playthrough / Hero of the already forgotten cartoon has a pretty decent game.
Widget (1992) by Graphic Research is platform game based on the cartoon , which debuted on TV screens in the early 1990s. The game depicts the story of Widget, a purple alien who was sent to earth to supervise and protect it from evil forces. It is mainly a cartoon oriented toward environmental dangers, with the aim of making young people aware of them. The game reminds me of Mega Man only that it's poorer, slower and much easier. Graphically the game can really appeal, the sprites are large and the animations are pleasing to the eye. The music is a little squeaky and at the same time very infantile so not everyone can . There are 5 different forms at the widget's disposal which are required more or less to complete the level or gain power ups. The balance in this regard is very poor only the mouse and the pterodactyl are really useful more than 2 times. There is also a map and hints at our disposal, which can be checked under the start button. Admittedly, the levels are so small that I wouldn't cry if these two options weren't there..... but they added it, so kudos to them for that. The game is definitely one of the easier ones, at least until you die, because then you lose some of your firepower. As for the Bosses, only one of them is actually dangerous the rest are a walk in the park. So in summary , the game is nice and enjoyable only poorly balanced. Overall above average .
