Night Slashers (Arcade) CO-OP Playthrough / If Castlevania were converted into a beat'em up game.
3Night Slashers (1993) by Data East is an interesting combination of beat'em up games mixed with the classic monster horror genre. While playing the game, similarities were constantly being made to Castlevania, which is actually a mix of all the classic works of the fantasy horror genre. It's delightful in general to think that someone came up with the idea of making a walking brawler in these climates already those 20+ years ago. The enemies , locations bosses animation music everything is really cool but..... characters are bland. Maybe I'm clinging to this game, but really their design did not appeal to me. After all, when you present such a twisted world as it is in this case, the creators should rather let their imagination loose a little more. But this applies only to the visual design, the rest, such as attacks and animations, are done really decently and there is nothing to complain about. Overall quality may not be the best, but it definitely attracts with its originality. Worth of recommendation .
