NOTE: I had to play this a couple times, to get it to go right, so I'm only going to describe the final successful attempt.

We are ready to take the war to the Imperials, but we need more intel, and the first thing we can do, is... to play a reverse spy game. The capture of our doppelganger is crucial as Starfleet Intelligence just found that our doppelganger is expected at a meeting in the Mehm system at a captured Orion base soon. We will take his place. Starfleet Intelligence has sent us a prime team to infiltrate the base. Once they have obtained the info, we will get them out and leave.

We got there and headed to the starbase, and we spotted two more heavy cruisers. As we approached the starbase, 3 Orion cruisers showed up, and starbase wanted us to get rid of the Orions first. We managed to do so, with no damage to ourselves, and heavy damage to one of the Imperials, but not destroyed.

NOTE: If both imperial ships are destroyed, the meeting will be called off and you fail. And if you fire on the imperial ships, you fail as well.

We headed back to the base, got in under range 10, and hailed the base. It dropped its shields, and we beamed in the infiltration team via the transporter controls. The shields popped back up, and now we wait.

We were contacted by the team that they are ready to come back, but the shields are still up. We slowed to get one of the weaker shields toward us, and went full alpha strike on it, then immediately beamed them onboard, and turned away from the base, while increasing to max speed. The base started firing back, and they hit us with a hellbore, causing internal damage as our shields are not back up yet. It came back up a second later. We increased speed and pulled away from the base, then when the damaged CC tried to get in our way, we fed it a couple missiles and it blew up. We then reached the edge of the map and left the sector. Mission accomplished.
