We are called to patrol this sector, and we're expecting pirates. We were not disappointed, and they are almost ridiculously easy to dispatch.

Then Starfleet Command sent us an urgent assignment.

Settling the Skorr

The spatial rift that "made" extra Orion ships at the previous place has appeared above the Skorr homeworld. Due to increased radiation, they are evacuating their home planet and their most prized artifact. Starfleet is sending a whole fleet of freighters to help them evac their hatchery of eggs, and a ship to evac the artifact. Defend them against ANYTHING...

We went to red alert and headed toward the planet at speed 20, and soon we detected what appears to be Klingon ships approaching. However, when hailed, they started uttering nonsense like "We are evil!". They appear to be "chaotic clones" made by the rift entity. Still, they are shooting at the freighters, and we had to destroy them. They are frigates, so destroying them was relatively simple. But there are enough of them and they keep coming.

We keep killing these frigates as the freighters did a fly-by of the planet, beamed up the eggs, and turned toward the map's edge. We keep killing them until the last freighter left the map, then we left the map as well.

Starfleet Command was pleased with our success.
