We are called to patrol this sector, and we're expecting pirates. We were not disappointed, and they are almost ridiculously easy to dispatch.

Starfleet Intelligence has uncovered another Imperial plot. They have somehow opened a wormhole into a graveyard of planetkillers, and they are trying to reactivate them. Remember, Captain Kirk had to sacrifice the USS Constellation to destroy the last one. So you may have to "borrow" an imperial cruiser or two if you do see one activated.

NOTE: I can't seem to capture one of them intact with both of my NCDs shooting.

We charged at every imperial ship we can find, while I have deep scan activated so we can do a fly-by of every Doomsday weapon we see. We killed frigates, even a few cruisers. (We did try to capture one, but somehow they keep blowing up.) then somehow one CFF managed to activate one. We killed the frigate, but with no more cruiser left, we drew straws, and one ship was sacrificed to stop the planetkiller.

With no more Imperial ships around, we left the area.

Starfleet is pleased that we managed to defeat this latest Imperial plot.
