This is the 3rd and final part of my latest series of Steam Next Fest demos, and it’s also a Halloween-themed one!
This is a game that I’ve been looking forward to for a while now. It’s made by Migami Games, who made the fantastic “Wallachia: Reign Of Dracula” and are now having a go at a full-scale Metroidvania game.
At first glance, this game shares a lot of graphical and mechanical similarities with Wallachia (like being able to block projectiles with a melee attack) and it also feels like everything is in place for a potentially great take on the genre. Fingers crossed!
In this video, I skipped most of the intro (which is story stuff and a controls tutorial) and showed the first gameplay section of the demo. Afterwards you get to visit a village (like in a Wonder Boy game) and explore a couple of other areas. The demo is still available at the time of writing, so feel free to give it a go for yourself if you want to see more.
