I first heard about this game during the “Nintendo Direct Brazil” presentation. I felt like bringing that up because I still think that was one of the best Nintendo Directs ever (despite it being an unofficial one) and I think it doesn’t get enough credit for how good it was (probably because it was an unofficial one).

Anyway, Tunche is a beat-em-up with a roguelike twist, which is an interesting combination that works pretty well. I’ve seen some people claim that it gets a bit grindy later on, but I’ve enjoyed what I’ve played so far.

This video- where I play through the first level as Nayra- was taken after I’d unlocked a few moves to make the combat flow better. What you’re seeing here is a step up from what you start with, but there’s a lot more to unlock beyond this (which opens up new strategies and combo variety, obviously).

And yes, I'd already beaten the boss once which is why they talk as if they've met before. ;)
