As we continue to explore the Oldest House, we find new people to assist, new abilities to wield, new puzzles to solve (and some we can't yet), and new things to shoot (both at and with)... and some new things we can't shoot and have to stay the heck away from because they're terrifying.

The difficulty is certainly ramping up with the types (and amounts) of opposition I'm encountering. I had a particularly interesting run-in towards the end of this segment, which I had surprisingly no trouble dealing with the first time, then all of the trouble dealing with subsequently when some downright awful map design sent me backwards through a one-way door and forced me to repeat my progress. I really don't understand why they decided to design the map that way when meanwhile, mere steps away, was an elevator providing a similar shortcut that seems perfectly usable in both directions...

The game is continuing to progress at a brisk pace; Jesse's long-awaited reunion with her brother seems imminent...
