In this video, I work on improving my game project using Godot by creating audio sliders for volume control, setting up UI elements, and ensuring persistent settings. I focus on implementing a functional audio mixer with sliders for master, music, and effects volume, and save these settings so they persist between game sessions. Along the way, I troubleshoot challenges with containers, themes, and Godot’s scripting tools to make the functionality seamless and user-friendly. We also dive into debugging scripts, signal connections, and dynamically connecting UI elements to their respective functions.
In addition to coding, I hit a follower milestone on Twitch—300 followers—an exciting moment to celebrate with everyone watching live! If you're interested in game development or just want to hang out during a chill coding session, join me.
