Strategy:

-Found in the darkroot garden

-Sif is an agressive fighter that moves around a lot and has a varied moveset. Because of its size, however, it's very possible to avoid its sword swings by simply moving out of the way, no dodging or blocking required, but it takes a bit of time to recognize which attacks are easily avoided.

-A good strategy is to get underneath Sif to attack it, as a lot of its attacks will miss. With this strategy, it's probably better to not lock-on to the boss, as it'll probably just disorient you. Otherwise it's a perfectly viable strategy to just go toe-to-toe with the boss on it's own terms, without any real tricks.

-If you like long-range attacks, there's a lot of room in the arena to move and a lot of Sif's attacks can be avoided by just backing up, so you're free to go buckwild.

Attacks:

-Swing and slam: Dashes forward, swing's tis sword horizontally, then vertically. All of its attacks can be blocked, some at a high stamina cost, but you CAN block them all.

-Spin attack: Spins around twice. Very high damage and stamina drain. Just back off and wait for it to finish, it'll be vunerable for a few moments afterwards.

-Evasive atack: Attacks and jumps away at the same time. Very fast, you're probably gonna have to block it.

-Slash upper: Dashes forward and swings its sword up, Dodge left or right or if you've got a good shield, just eat it.

Slice attacks: Slices at you horizontally either once or twice. You can dodge through it, so if you're confident that's a good opportunity to attack.

Limping attacks: It'll perform some of its other attacks, but much slower and with a great deal more struggle.

-Covenant of Artorias (required to access the boss in the New Londo Ruins)
