Delta Force has recently been officially out in the open beta with full force as a free-to-play imitation of EA's Battlefield series, complete with two of the major game modes from the said series, in addition to single-player Black Hawk Down and the extraction-like Operations. A few drawbacks from the older Battlefield series includes the lack of dedicated servers. Decent title for those who are into Battlefield-style games, expect some usual Unreal Engine hallmark of shader compilation-related stutters in the game even when shaders are compiled on the first loading screen or when graphics drivers are updated or reinstalled.

MSI Afterburner is used to provide statistics for:

1. GPU usage, temperature, effective core clock, power usage and video memory usage
2. CPU usage, temperature, core clock, power usage and system memory usage
3. Rendering application programming interface (API), framerate and frametime in ms
4. Frametime graph

Other remarks:

I mistakenly set labelling of the rendering API in RivaTuner Statistics Server as Vulkan when editing the overlay, when in reality the game is using Direct3D 12 API.

The game stutters frequently when playing, a hallmark of many Unreal Engine games, due to incomplete shader compilation not caught up by the game on the launching load screen.

When the game launches, it spawns and starts manually the following four services related to Tencent Anti-Cheat Expert:

ACE-GAME
ACE-BASE
AntiCheatExpert Service
AntiCheatExpert Protection

After the game closes or crashes, all four services will remain enabled for a short while before stopping, while deleting ACE-GAME and ACE-BASE services.

Additionally, GPU temperature readings built into the game are bugged, causing it to read as 0 °C.
