Deserialization with Gson | Coding a 2D Game Engine in Java #20

In this video, I go over the second half of saving and loading game data in Java, which is deserialization. We once again make extensive use of the Gson library to automate almost 100% of our deserialization. We help Gson a bit when it comes to our abstract data types components, which allows it to deserialize objects with no problems. Finally, we take a look at how to export and load a level file. There is a minor bug that occurs when doing this that will be discussed in the next tutorial.
