Did You Know In THE WOLVERINE…
The bullet train fight was filmed on wires above a set piece that was surrounded by greenscreen. The different moving backgrounds were done by filming on an elevated freeway in Tokyo, and the visual effects artists got it by filming with a rig and eight Red Epic cameras that were angled at forty five degrees.Even though the filming was done at sixty kilometers per hour, the footage still had to be sped up to three hundred kilometers an hour to match a bullet train speed. We were even going to get Rogue showing up in the film, and she was going to try and convince Logan to return home. She ended up getting cut due to James Mangold wanting to focus on Logan’s isolation storyline.
