This video comprises several outtakes in clip form and one successful demo for the challenge of scoring all monsters, items and secrets from a pistol start on Doom 2's Map 26 'The Abandoned Mines' while taking no damage, whatsoever, a.k.a. 'No Damage Completion'. There is commentary throughout the video, most of it streamed live on Twitch as I attempted the challenge.

Please comment about the editing of the outtakes, which is a little different in this video --- I like to experiment with my intros and I would appreciate any feedback.
The technique of tic counting has come so far that it doesn't even surprise me that in the successful run every trip through poison was executed within 2 tics of the intended timing and not a single attempt at this challenge was ended by damaging floor. The extreme difficulty of the previous map 'Bloodfalls' has improved my consistency in this respect.

Despite using the secret at the side of the starting area early on for additional supplies, the scarcity of ammo forced me to activate many enemies in those initial stages of the route. The cages restrict Doomguy's movement while allowing the monsters to attack us from a variety of angles.

For my next challenge, it is time to return to Ultimate Doom and Inferno for UV Max + Reality. It's going to be tough and, after succeeding the first time, I will be figuring out how to save time to submit a fast speedrunning time.
