Plutonia Experiment inflicts all 3 of those on me even today as it was made to challenge the most veteran of Doom players who know what to expect on Ultra Violence, I've done my Plutonia Experment on Ultra Violence pistol start in the unity port and it still gives me the jitters that challenge I gave myself, I didn't like it at all but I endured it.

In the case of this megawad, it's a spin-off of Congestion 1024 and the overall 1024 mapping concept with it being released on March 8th 2015 by a all-star lineup including project lead Jon Vali (40oz), Gothic, Breezeep, Captain Toenail, and Obsidian all charged with making 32 maps within a 1024x1024 space all with Plutonia Experiment textures and the signature traps/etc in them.

True to the name, Plutonia 1024 is vicious and very cramped, and with not much room to move I must've perished in previous takes of this revisit almost 40 times or more. Plutonia Experiment always had a knack for archviles when you least expect them, fake walls, teleport traps and lowering floors that trap us and you'll be pleased (assuming) to know that Plutonia 1024 doesn't skirt these trademarks at all. The ammo is placed just enough to take out the enemies of a map though RNG is a cruel son of a bitch at times, I do enjoy this megawad for being something different.

[[Unlike Slaughterfest 2011 or Swift Death, Here I knew what I was getting into as I had played this megawad prior to making the original episode and like I've explained I wasn't too good at so I had to do several takes on the original video but I did know about berserk punching high tier to mid tier enemeis which.. I don't like still today but sometimes I have no choice.

The only big issues is that Plutonia 1024's last 4 maps are dire and very rough looking, also they have low plasma/rocket counts so these are some of the most challenging maps related to Plutonia I've gone over since Plutonia 2 and the Plutonia Revisited Community Project. Similar to said wads, I play this one regulary with or without mods as its grown on me as a sharp razorblade surrounded box that does something unique]]
