Embracing The Mystery Of Control
128I started playing Control: Ultimate Edition on PS5 thanks to PlayStation Plus, and I had so many questions from minute one. What is the Oldest House? Who is Ahti? How did Jesse Faden even get here? Whether you’ve played the base game or The Foundation and AWE DLC expansions, I’m sure you have questions of your own too.
But by the time I reached the end of the game, I didn’t need answers anymore. Control explains plenty of things, but I realized that between the redacted documents, disappearing scientists, dream logic puzzles, and more, the mystery isn’t meant to be solved. Embracing the unknown of Control is a magical, freeing feeling.
I was fortunate to play the Ultimate Edition of Control on PS5, but the game is also available on PS4, Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC. Remedy has a masterpiece here, and FrameWork definitely recommends it!
