For more than 25 years, E3 has marked a special time of year in the video game world -- a time when the industry gathers to check out the future slate of exciting, upcoming games. The conference has had a storied history, from its inception in 1995, to 2020, the year it was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19.

But one (rather short) story is often forgotten: for one brief season, E3 went overseas in an attempt to expand the conference into multiple global events. This is the story of E3 Tokyo. A short story seems perfect for YouTube Shorts, eh?

E3 2021 included games like Mario + Rabbids: Spark of Hope, Psychonauts 2, Metroid Dread, and Elden Ring, and you’ll catch glimpses of those in this video. Some other favorites of ours include WarioWario: Get It Together, Shin Megami Tensei V, and Starfield. Tell us yours!
