This is En Garde! with X3DAudio HRTF. It's a surprisingly high-quality hack-and-slash on Unreal Engine 4 with what looks like entirely original assets. It was made as a student project, and it goes on the record as being one of the very best student projects I've ever seen. The performance is terrible (this is on Medium), but I can forgive that given the context. Unfortunately, the gameplay isn't quite as forgivable. What should be a fluid, rhythmic dance a la the Arkham series is instead a Rockstar-esque clunkfest. The lock-on feature is completely broken and the parry button is extremely unresponsive. (2:45) You quickly learn that it's superior to just mindlessly mash buttons and occasionally dodge to avoid falling prey to the aforementioned broken lock-on. Using the giant tables as weapons doesn't hurt, either.
Strangely enough, the minibosses and end boss actually have proper A.I. and can dodge or parry your moves back. The end boss in particular rivals the fighting game bosses of yore in cheapness. If the developers could program these moves for the bosses, then why couldn't they program them for the basic enemies? Ah well. Nice binaural audio during the crowd scenes.
