Fallout: New Vegas (Gameplay #4)
The first few hours of New Vegas didn't exactly deliver an abundance of readily available quest givers, but by now the game has slowly started opening up with a couple of more lively and densely populated areas, a few bigger multi-part assignments and some really interesting choices where it's not obvious what the morally "good" option would be. I'm also still finding new guns (such as the Service Rifle and Cowboy Repeater shown in this video) as there seems to be a lot of more variety in each weapon "class" this time around.
As for the Hardcore mode, so far it's mostly been noticeable in that my character keeps getting a bit dehydrated since I constantly forget to drink when stopping by in town. It's not a huge deal since low levels of dehydration, hunger and lack of sleep (which are the three health risks the player has to deal with) don't seem to have any truly debilitating effects, but it's still nice to have to have an additional dimension to consider before or after embarking on a major expedition into the wilderness. Also, getting crippled body parts is a bigger deal now since only proper physicians (or Doctor's Bags, which are much less common than Stimpacks) can heal them.
