2The wasteland immediately surrounding the game's starting area looks eerily similar to Fallout 3's DC area, but even apart from the added vegitation and clean water there is definitely a bit more environmental variety in New Vegas as a whole, and therefore also more enjoyment to be gained from simply exploring the world. One of my favorite places is the area in and surrounding the Spring Mountain Range Park and Red Rock Canyon, which in post-apocalyptic terms looks surprisingly untouched and thus feels more authentically Western.
My new companion Cass has an intriguing side quest which ultimately sets her at odds with certain factions in the game. The player thus has to make a choice about supporting her against her enemies or, alternatively, leading her into a trap...
