A playthrough of Fallout, the first title of the Fallout game series that came out in 1997. This series will be broken up town when possible. Includes random commentary from me.

This video picks up from where I left off after Video 1 (https://youtu.be/YTnQlsS5UfM) and goes through the "Good" route of Junktown.

Upon entering Junktown, Albert finds the way into the fortified town manned by a guard. It was night and strangers weren't allowed in after dark, but Albert's way with words convinced the guard to let him in anyways.The guard quickly explains that they are there to keep order and the rules allow for weapons to be used in self-defense only. Starting a fight will land the person in jail or maybe even result in death, for example.

It was dark and the shops were closed, so Albert heads to the local bar called Skum Pitt first to the north side of town. Along the way, he picks up a pooch who decided to follow him for dressing in leather jacket like his deceased owner did. A violent patron suddenly decides to punch Trish, the waitress, causing a scene in the bar. Neal, the bar owner quickly pulls out his gun and puts a hole through the scumbag, letting all know he was not tolerating such behavior in his bar. The dead thug's friends took it as a signal to get out, but swore to get revenge on Neal as they left.

The night still young, Albert finds Tycho, a seasoned traveler among the patrons. Albert listens to Tycho's stories about the experiences of traveling the wasteland after learning of his desert ranger heritage, and learned some survival skills.

Having had enough action for the night, Albert decides to get a room at the Crash House, the local hotel, to sleep until morning. However, owner had closed for the night. Checking out who else occupied the space in the Crash House, Albert finds Skulz gang members hanging out in the back. Wanting to find proof of Skulz criminal activities, the Vault Dweller approaches Vinnie, one of the leaders, and feigned the part of an eager thug. As a test, Albert was ask to steal the urn on the Skum Pitt's bar counter containing the ashes of Neal's deceased wife.

Nothing else to do, Albert napped until the owner awoke and rented a room to crash for a few hours. The morning was off to an intense start, though. A crazed man had taken a prostitute hostage next door and needed rescuing. The Vault Dweller volunteers to help and talks the unsettled man down. In the end, everyone walked away safely and Albert was offered a complementary one day stay at the hotel, but there was much to do.

Wanting to resupply, the Vault Dweller went into the local store, which is run by Killian Darkwater, the mayor of Junktown. However, just as they got introduced, an assassin comes in and pulls out a gun, attempting to take Killian's life. Albert jumps into action and helps thwart the hired gun's attempt to murder Killian. The hired gun foolishly brought up Gizmo's name, making it clear who hired him to do the deed.

Gizmo is a greedy, fat, chair-bound man who runs a casino in the north side of town and no fan of Killian's rule over Junktown. He's an ill-reputed person according to everyone on Killian's side, and everyone knows Gizmo is involved with the Skulz. Now that Gizmo has decided to escalate matters, Killian decides that it's time to deal with the danger Gizmo presented, permanently.

Killian asks a favor of the Vault Dweller, and Albert obliged by agreeing to get hard evidence that Gizmo was behind the attempt on Killian's life. Killian quickly provides Albert with a bug and a tape recorder, leaving it up to the Vault Dweller on which to use get Gizmo on tape saying that he sent the assassin to kill Killian.

Before going to meet Gizmo in person Albert, heads to the Skum Pitt. Though it was an unpleasant task, Albert stole the urn while the bar was closed. After leaving the bar, Albert heads to the casino easily Gizmo into confessing his crime on tape by pretending to be a hit man.

Juggling two tasks, Albert returns to Vinnie with the urn and was invited to the planned murder of Neal later that night. The Vault Dweller rats alerts the town guard of the Skulz's plans, and joins them in taking down the Skulz. He also returns the urn he had stolen, and Neal none the wiser that Albert was the slime who stole it in the first place.

Waiting until evening, Albert finds Tycho and invites him to help clean up the town with Killian's approval. With the evidence needed to prove Gizmo's crime, Albert reports in, and Killian moves to take Gizmo out. Albert joins in on the action after receiving a reward, wanting to see the fat villain meet justice up close as a bonus. After the dirty work is done, order is restored in Junktown.
