This is the first forced encounter you must accept, but since I got the scene with Vivi done beforehand, you should never allow a ghost to attack before fleeing...period. Luckily for me I got an instant escape, so no gil loss!

When picking up the Hi-Potion and 135 gil, wait to enter Morrid's house until he reaches the bottom of the steps, because he will NOT show up right away in his home if you enter too soon!
Black Waltz 2 is easy except for one thing, bypassing his Fira counter. To do this, Vivi needs to IMMEDIATELY knock out whoever BW2 attacked during the second round, but ideally you want Vivi himself to get axed, as that happened here! A bigger bonus is that I got the extra Ether drop, that's an extra 1000 gil!
Black Waltz 3 is the same for every player with NO variation! Just attack with Zidane, Stainer's Fire Sword, and Double-Fire, though attempt a steal for Zidane's 2nd turn, any steal is good, but anything other than the Steepled Hat is great!
